About the Job
My client, a fast‑growing international e‑commerce organisation, is looking to hire its first dedicated Treasurer to build and professionalise the treasury function at group level. This newly created role will play a key part in taking ownership of treasury operations and supporting the company’s continued global growth.
Reporting directly to the Group Controller, you will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape treasury processes, manage global banking relationships, and operate across a multi‑currency, international environment. This role is based in Venlo or Utrecht.
Key Responsibilities
–Take ownership of the group treasury function and support its further development
–Manage daily cash and liquidity across a multi‑currency environment
–Oversee intercompany loans and related documentation and flows
–Maintain and manage global banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions
–Operate and further optimise treasury processes within SAP
–Work closely with internal stakeholders including the Accounts Payable team and Financial Controllers
–Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders such as international banks
–Proactively identify improvements and efficiencies within treasury operations
About You
–Have solid experience as a treasurer, ideally in an international environment
–Bring hands‑on experience with intercompany financing, multicurrency cash management and TMS
–Are a self‑starter who can work independently and hit the ground running
–Combine a strong sense of ownership with a collaborative team spirit
–Are flexible, adaptable, and thrive in a fast‑moving organisation
