At CooperSurgical we are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Teamlead for our Distribution and logistics centre in Venlo, The Netherlands. You will have ten to fifteen direct reports, shared between temporary and permanent employees all working on-site, on two different shifts. The job is on-site, and one must be eligible to work in The Netherlands and speak Dutch and English.
Position
In the role as Warehouse Teamlead , you will lead and manage the daily operation team in the warehouse, set performance goals, conduct 1:1, assist with planning and scheduling of employees, while act as an active employee on the floor, when needed. Identify and adjust irregularities in processes and procedures related to the function and implement relevant improvements in the business. In the role as Warehouse Team leader, you will be the EH&S responsible and Conduct EH&S rounds and provide safety leadership including offer internal Emergency Response Team (ERT) training. There will be several different administrative tasks in the role, hence we need a person that can multitask and at the same time be accurate and detailed.
You will be working closely together with internal stakeholders, supporting them and assisting in various ad hoc projects.

Your key responsibilities
Manage and Lead the Daily operations in Warehouse
Follow up and correct irregularities in processes and behaviors
Set realistic and visible goals for the team
Responsible for ERT training and general EH&S environment
Relevant degree in logistics, customer service or production
+5years as Supervisor or Teamlead in warehouse or production
Worked in an International setup
Well-versed in MS-Office and other relevant systems such as ERP (preferably Navision) and basic Excel skills
Collaborative with a structured approach.
Eye for detail.
Proactive and solution focused.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch
