We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager (Full-time 40h) to oversee and coordinate all warehouse activities at our Venlo site. You will manage warehouse employees and subcontractors, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and dispatch of agricultural machinery and parts. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with hands-on operational expertise.
Location: Venlo (Candidates must be able to physically perform and supervise warehouse operations at the Venlo site)
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise warehouse staff and subcontractors.
· Tracks and investigates customer complaints related to warehouse operations; implements corrective actions to reduce recurrence and collaborates with warehouse staff and management to identify operational inefficiencies and areas for process improvement.
· Analyzes workflow, inventory handling, and fulfilment procedures to recommend and implement enhancements
· Plan, organize, and control all warehouse operations
· Ensure proper inventory management practices, including accurate tracking of stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and coordinating with purchasing and logistics teams to maintain adequate inventory levels.
· Develop and implement warehouse operating procedures and standards to optimize efficiency and productivity.
· Ensure correct handling and identification of machinery and parts.
· Communicate daily priorities and goals to the warehouse team.
· Work closely with logistics, purchasing, and service departments.
· Report to Logistics Manager.
Education:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or business is generally required.
Experience:
5 + years of experience of experience in supply management within a technical product or industrial goods environment
Skills:
o Strong communication (interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution), analytical abilities, and experience with supply chain management are essential.
o Deep familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
o Knowledge of warehouse layout planning – efficient space usage
o ERP systems experience
o Dutch fluency is a must.
