What are you going to do as Project Engineer – Dynamic liquid Crystal Glazing?

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join our Marketing and Sales team. As a project engineer, you will provide technical discipline expertise in glass engineering. You have a central position in the organization and will coordinate with different departments in our organization to ensure that we deliver the perfect product every time. You will be responsible to drive assigned projects from contract signature until completion. We are active on projects worldwide and you will experience a broad variety of architecture.

You will report to the Senior Project Engineer and work as a member of the Sales Team. Your activities include, but are not limited to:

Analyse tender information and prepare quotation documentation in a timely manner;

Perform building physics and structural glass calculations;

Ensure that proposed products fit customer requirements and capabilities;

Prepare relevant documents and CAD drawings to explain technical details to the customer and sales team (CAD drawings, electrical diagrams,…);

Liaise with Product Manager and the development team when new solutions are required;

Prepare order documentation and ensure all required information is available to the production team;

Monitor assigned projects and communicate results and/or any unexpected deviations from agreed timelines or project specifications and take ownership to resolve the issues;

Keep customers informed on the status of their orders;

Assist the product manager with customer facing documentation.

Who you are:

Bachelor (minimum) / Master Degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering;

3-5 years experience in the glass industry or construction field;

Proficient with CAD software (Autocad, Rhino);

Experience with FEM software (Mepla);

Experience with publishing software (InDesign);

Experienced in/or interested in programing (Grasshopper, Python, Power Automate);

Experience in electrical installation and design or willingness to learn it;

Have strong prioritization skills and ability to manage complex projects.
