Project Controller

Purpose of Role:
- Support Project Management with financial data insights: project planning and budgeting, timely and accurate revenue recognition, POC calculation if applicable, milestone billing, cost variances, cashflow control
- Identify, implement and maintain effective project, cost and risk control measures
- Facilitate interaction between finance team and other departments, ensuring that financial insights are integrated into business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial oversight for large-scale engineering and manufacturing projects, ensuring financial objectives are achieved and risks are mitigated.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, track progress, and provide regular financial reports to project managers and senior leadership.
- Perform margin and cash flow evaluation of new bids, ensuring projects align with the company’s financial strategy.
- Ensure accurate cost tracking for each project phase, including materials, labor, and subcontractor expenses.
- Identify and manage financial risks related to project delays, cost overruns, or scope changes, recommending mitigation strategies.
- Prepare regular financial reports, including budget versus actuals, cost-to-complete, and variance analysis.
- Present cost performance reports to project managers, engineering teams, and senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improving cost efficiency.
- Perform cost analysis and forecasts to ensure projects remain within budget and evaluate the financial impact of changes in project scope

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- HBO+
- SAP Project module experience
- Fluent English
- Experience in Controlling function
