Job Description
- Carries out tasks based on oral and written instructions from department management
- Operates various core shooting machines for producing different types of cores, including setting up the machine, supplying sand, installing drying plates, and managing gas/heat supply
- Removes shot cores from the core boxes manually for small cores and mechanically for large cores
- Removes burrs, shooting points, and air sieve marks as needed, and cleans the cores with compressed air
- Places cores on a pallet or conveyor belt manually or using an air cylinder or crane
- Prepares the core box for production by cleaning, applying release agent, and installing reinforcement bars
- Inspects core boxes for damage, checks core dryness and integrity, and reports any issues to management
- Keeps machines and equipment clean, and reports any defects
- Communicates progress and problems to department management
- Performs support tasks within and occasionally outside the department
- Adheres to safety regulations.
Job Requirements
- You are skilled with power tools and have experience using them
- Available to work full-time in three shifts (6:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00, and 22:00 to 6:00)
- Proficient in Dutch, English, or German
- You have your own transportation to commute to Tegelen.
