For our client in Blerick, we are looking for a damage repair specialist for spot repair and painting of various trains. This client specializes in repairing, refurbishing, and converting different train units. You will be working to repair superficial damage to the trains, making them ready for use and presentable. This includes sanding away paint damage, dent repair on the exterior, spraying and painting the train units – essentially, performing tasks similar to those of an auto body repair specialist but on a larger scale.

Tasks that are part of your job include:

  • Preparing surfaces to be painted
  • Painting and finishing preserved spots and components
  • Gluing or sealing the body of trains
  • Quality control of the work
  • Recording activities on the checklist
  • If you enjoy working with your hands to deliver a technically refined product and have experience as an auto painter, industrial painter, damage handler, or in any other form of painting, then this is the job for you.

    Our client is a technical company based in Nijkerk that acquired a new facility in Blerick in 2020. They have initiated a project for the Dutch Railways (NS) and are currently seeking technical experts. The company is committed to achieving maximum uptime at the lowest possible lifecycle costs. The main activities involve the maintenance and repair of rail vehicles and all associated systems. They provide comprehensive services to transport companies, maintenance services, and manufacturers, ensuring 24/7 support for their clients on-site or in their own workshop. The project you will be working on involves the repair and revision of approximately 150 NS trains, requiring the renewal of parts and repainting.

    The Blerick facility is located by the railway and is easily accessible by bike, car, and public transportation. They offer travel expense reimbursement, making it convenient for individuals commuting from the municipalities of Roermond, Venray, and Peel en Maas.

    Wie ben je?

    As a painter/preparation employee, you are adept and meticulous in your work. Additionally, you identify with the following:

  • You are proficient in Dutch, German, or English, both spoken and written.
  • You have demonstrable experience in painting cars, trains, or other forms of industrial spraying.
  • You are a proactive individual and can work independently.
  • You have technical competence and can navigate yourself in a technical environment.
