Customer Service Team Leader

As our Customer Service Team Lead you will manage the Customer Service department which is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our cross-border parcel shipping solution, dealing with the daily requirements of our B2B clients and managing/overseeing the operational performance of our external parcel carriers. As the customer service team lead you will strive for continuous optimization of relevant business processes.


You will:

  • Deal with daily client & carrier inquiries in the parcel shipping environment
  • Monitor & manage carriers by performance analysis and relevant KPIs and take measures to ensure continuous service improvement.
  • Manage a small team of Support & Administration Specialists
  • Oversee performance & risk critical processes
  • Communicate & align with internal departments such as Finance, Warehousing, Transport Management, Line haul trucking
  • Configure settings and data administration in our Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Perform Carrier invoice verification/issue client invoices
  • Support the business implementation process of carriers & clients

You have:

  • Fluent communication in English
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs [Excel, Word, PowerPoint]. Advanced Excel skills is a must.
  • Ambitious & driven, open to new challenges
  • Willing to work 4 days a week from the office in Venlo
  • Experience in the transportation industry or transport-related logistics department, ideally work experience with parcel carriers
